How are the rating points of the songs calculated?

The scoring logic works as follows:

• Points are awarded as 14, 12, 2, and 0 — ranging from "I love it!" to "Veto!".
  This system came out of our test runs, where we decided to give negative ratings a bit more weight — all in the name of maximizing fun. For example, with 5 band members, a song that gets 5x “Pretty cool!” will score slightly better than one with 4x “I love it!” and 1x “Ok-ish...”.
• Vetos aren’t listed separately — they appear in the regular ranking.
• Missing votes are counted using the average of the ratings submitted so far.
  This way, the votes already submitted carry a bit more weight and (hopefully) motivate everyone else to cast their vote too. 🙂
