Light theme

We finally added a light theme that is better suitable for brighter surroundings, for people with visual impairments and overall for everyone, who does like it more.

You can switch the theme with just a click on the according “Dark mode“ or “Light mode“ entry in the navigation. Your selection will be remembered cross-device. ( ZONE-449 )

Possibility to add “things“ from everywhere

With the new “+ Add“ button in the top navigation now (almost) everything can be added from (almost) everywhere. On desktop you can invoke the “Add“ overlay via the letter “a“ on your keyboard.

When you are in the detail view of one single song, event, venue or band you can also add files for this specific element via this dialog - in addition to the regular “Add file“ button in the according file section ( ZONE-2696 )

Global search

No more manual searching and clicking around in various lists:

You can now search for songs, events and venues via the new “Search“ button in the top navigation from anywhere in the application. The search is done in the names of the according elements ( ZONE-2763 )

Audio click

If a song has tempo information provided, you can now also turn on an audio click right next to the visual tempo indicator.

Same as for the visual indicator the audio click option only is available when there is only one tempo/bpm value provided ( ZONE-2709 )

“nothing yet changed“ marker for availabilities

In the availability info of each band member a “?“ now indicates that there has not been any change made yet to the availability. This is to better distinguish between an intentional “I don’t know yet“-feedback from a band member not having not yet responded at all.

With that a follow-up with the according band member can be done more specific, i.e. only bothering people who did not yet respond, rather than everyone with an “Unclear“ status ( ZONE-2655, ZONE-2732 )

Mate abbreviations in participation bar

You can now see who’s available for an event more quickly via the mate abbreviations in the collapsed participation bar. These now show up for all bands with less than 12 people - actually, more precisely, for events with less than 12 participants ( ZONE-2760 )

Absences are also shown here in addition to the actual availability feedback of each band mate.

Bugs fixed

File names do not break anywhere so they overflow the screen ( ZONE-2742 )
"Add mate" button is shown for users who cannot add mates (i.e. non-admins) ( ZONE-2741 )
User cannot delete a band that has a cancelled subscription, even if it is set back to be in trial mode ( ZONE-2640 )
The event overview with sticky headers does not work in the mobile view on smartphone (companion app, Android) ( ZONE-2638 )
The audio-file playback cannot be skipped anymore and has to be played from the start ( ZONE-2643 )
Absences of people are not shown as overlay in participation pickers if the first associated mate of a user is not of the current band ( ZONE-2711 )
